Gentle Set

“Gentle Set” continues the narrative of “Soft Steel”, further exploring the relationship between strength and softness through a series of limited, handcrafted furniture pieces. The collection builds on the idea of transforming an industrial material into something more tactile and emotionally resonant, without losing its structural clarity.

Steel is approached not only as a framework, but as a surface capable of nuance. Through the introduction of glass elements fixed onto bolts, beeswax-treated details, and forms inspired by grape leaves, the material is gradually softened. These gestures bring a sense of warmth and familiarity, creating a subtle tension between the industrial and the organic, the precise and the handmade.

The process of making remains central. Each element reflects a direct, manual approach: glass is carefully mounted onto bolts, beeswax is applied by hand, candles are individually crafted, and every bolt is fastened manually. These repetitive, deliberate actions embed a human presence within the work, emphasizing time, care, and attention to detail.

The result is a collection that exists between opposing qualities—strength and fragility, permanence and delicacy—offering a considered interpretation of material and form.
